Garden

This year we are establishing a garden for the use of students at the base. On 1st October volunteers from EON came and constructed raised beds for the garden. EON paid for all the materials used. The beds will now be filled with soil from St. Ann's allotments.

We have also been awarded a Better Neighbour Grant from B&Q Netherfield. The store donated a range of garden equipment including water butts, tools, wellington boots, bulbs and 3 picnic tables.

Meanwhile, gardening has continued in our existing beds. We had another bumper crop in the summer and have recently sown broad beans and onions to grow over the winter.
